Nutrition Now is a virtual nutrition counseling service that is tailored to fit the unique needs of busy clients who are eager to conceive or enhance pre and postnatal health. The service was launched by Registered Dietitian, Certified Lactation Educator-Counselor, Certified Personal Trainer and devoted mom-of-one Lauren Manaker. Having struggled with infertility and a challenging pregnancy personally while balancing the demands of an ambitious career, Lauren knows, first-hand, how hard it can be to fit healthcare appointments into an already full schedule. Even with adequate time and money to see specialists, it can be easy to overlook the most basic aspect of reproductive health—nutrition.
Nutrition has a profound impact on a couple’s ability to conceive, and proper nutrition is the cornerstone of a healthy pregnancy and postpartum self-care. As such, it is crucial that couples who are attempting to conceive, women who have conceived and those who have recently given birth get accurate and timely advice about what to eat and why. Nutritional guidance needs to be…
- More substantive than a doctor’s boilerplate brochure
- More accurate than well-meaning advice from a friend or family member
- Less time consuming than consulting with “Dr. Google” and attempting to discern medical fact from fiction
Nutrition Now fulfills those needs by providing convenient access to a Registered Dietitian.
